Suburb of Jakarta - here time stands still

We invite you to an unusual journey through unknown places in the suburbs of one of the largest cities in the world - the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta. This vibrant and bustling metropolis is home to about 10 million people, not counting the residents of the suburbs. But one has only to move a few kilometers away from the capital to discover the new look of this country.

Observing the life of local residents of the surrounding villages, it seems that time has stopped there. You will see this in the wonderful photographs of the Indonesian photographer Herman Damar.
