Caravan: The Secret Life of Irish Gypsies in Joseph Philip Bevillard's poignant photographs Irish gypsies have long adapted to the conditions of modern life. Their vans have everything you need, including household appliances, water and electricity. But the spirit of the ancient culture is still alive. A fervent twinkle in the eyes, expression and love of brilliance betray the freedom-loving soul of a nomad. Thanks to the unique series of the British photographer, we have the opportunity to be transported to a world that is trying to hide from prying eyes in order to preserve the remnants of the heritage of our ancestors and the unique Gypsy culture.

Many people do not know that the term "gypsies", which everyone is used to using, is an ethnic insult. The Italian photographer spent two years traveling through the Roma camps and created a unique project that reveals the culture and worldview of this ancient people.
