Britain of the 1960s in the lens of the legendary Bruce Davidson
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/britain-of-the-1960s-in-the-lens-of-the-legendary-bruce-davidson.htmlAmerican documentary photographer Bruce Davidson came to the UK in 1960 for a couple of months on the assignment of Queen magazine. The task of the 27-year-old photographer was to capture the country as he sees it. So he did. In his lens, you can see a country where the lifestyle and morals have not changed for 30 years. A country that still hasn't healed its wounds after the Second World War. A country where young people are rushing forward, while old people are zealously pulling her into the dark past. A country that is still waiting for the sex revolution, the Beatles and the invasion of punks.
