Vietnam 1915 in color photo
Today, many have already discovered Vietnam as a new tourist destination, although for most of the country remains almost unknown. I had the opportunity to travel almost the length of Vietnam from end to end (two and a half thousand km.), to see many of his city. Was surprised at the sense of "layer cake" of different cultures and civilizations of the ancient Khmer and betskoi, Chinese, French, and Soviet. Red flags and old Soviet trucks, Catholic cathedrals and French wines, almost Chinese cuisine, the ancient Khmer monuments, new hotels and office buildings — all this intricately combined, forming a unique flavor of this country.
We offer you to look at color photographs looked like Vietnam 100 years ago, several decades after the French conquest. Quality, of course, not like Prokudin-Gorsky, some grains. I still had to work some magic on a revival of colors, a correction key, to remove some defects. But that is a technical issue, the color photograph that gives the feeling of traveling in a time machine!
