Spaghetti is probably one of the most popular Italian dishes. They began to do in Sicily in the XII century. For a long time, pasta was the food of aristocrats and wealthy, and only in the XVIII century the development of industry made their main inexpensive product for most Italians. Today spaghetti not lose their popularity, and their production process is fully automated. But it was not always so: in the first half of the twentieth century, almost all production stages were carried out manually.

Spaghetti workers put their efforts, energy and soul, maybe that's why they have become so popular and loved all over the world. The conventional product required a lot of effort and time in the manufacturing process, and these photos prove that we do not hang noodles on the ears.
