Life is a difficult thing. And so one father, wanting to teach his son a valuable lesson, decided to try something new in the field of parenting methods. While the boy's mother was away, 39-year-old truck driver Zhang Junguang went on a trip from his hometown of Puyang to Beijing with his young son. They had to travel on roller skates, but this was not the worst thing — they had to cover a distance of 520 kilometers.

Every day, the father and son got up at 8 o'clock in the morning and got to the Chinese national road No. 106. Once an hour, travelers stopped to rest and recuperate, and closer to sunset they began to look for a place to sleep. That's how their usual day on roller skates went.

Upon arrival in the next city, the proud dad always photographed his son next to the signs on the highway. When they finally got to Beijing, there were about 600 pictures in the collection.

After the trip, Zhang Junguang admitted that the biggest disadvantage of their adventure was the windy weather and bad road in some sections. Also, the father proudly said that several times on the way, the four-year-old son cried, but did not complain and did not give up. That was Junguang's goal - to teach the boy to persevere towards his goal and not retreat.

In total, the trip took the father and son two weeks, and on April 4 they were already in Beijing. As a reward for perseverance and firmness of spirit, Junguang showed the kid all the sights of the city that his son wanted to see.

"Life is like walking along the road: sometimes the road is smooth and calm, and sometimes you have to overcome bumps and pits—" says Junguang. —I hope this journey has affected my son."
