Mikhail Bopposov lives in the village of Walba, Yakutia. He, like most locals, has a cowshed. But Bopposov differs from his neighbors by a wonderful hobby — a man makes sculptures out of manure.

"In Yakutia, in winter, everyone who keeps a cowshed makes manure from the cowshed into a tank (as if it looks like a box on a sled). So the manure is compactly stored and takes up less space. In the spring, the tank is taken away from the village or left in the chernozem for fertilizer. I made a real tank in one year, I thought, it's all the same to sculpt, why not make something beautiful and meaningful, and not just a pile of manure? So it went-it went," the craftsman told Life.
