He, like most locals, has a cowshed. But Bopposov differs from his neighbors by a wonderful hobby — a man makes sculptures out of manure.
"In Yakutia, in winter, everyone who keeps a cowshed makes manure from the cowshed into a tank (as if it looks like a box on a sled). So the manure is compactly stored and takes up less space. In the spring, the tank is taken away from the village or left in the chernozem for fertilizer. I made a real tank in one year, I thought, it's all the same to sculpt, why not make something beautiful and meaningful, and not just a pile of manure? So it went-it went," the craftsman told Life.
The sculptor draws inspiration for his creations from the Chinese calendar.
To mark the coming of the year of the Rooster, Mikhail Bopposov sculpted a huge sculpture of a rooster — 3.5 meters high and 4.2 meters long. The statue has already become a local landmark.
Locals are happy to take selfies against the background of the creation of a characteristic color, and the author states that the sculpture can withstand the weight of an adult.
Bopposov has been surprising with his creativity for many years. Since 2012, he has managed to make a dragon, a snake, three horses, a family of goats and monkeys, and even Zhdun.
