At the height of the pandemic, two kittens of one of the rarest and smallest breeds in the world were born.

Rusty cats or spotted-red cats come from the genus of Asian individuals and are considered close relatives of the Bengal breed. In nature, they live only in India and Sri Lanka. Adults reach a length of no more than 48 centimeters, and weigh about one kilogram.

At birth, these babies weigh no more than a chicken egg. There is a breeding program for this breed in the UK, and the appearance of kittens has become a real gift for all employees of the Porfell Wildlife Park.
It is not yet possible to find out the sex of these babies. Park workers carefully watch the kittens, anticipating their slightest desires, but the mother cat looks after her offspring even more closely and does not let any of the people get close.
