Vintage portraits of a young Catherine Deneuve

Legendary French actress Catherine Deneuve famous for starring in the musical romantic Jacques demy's film "Les PARAPLUIES de Cherbourg". In 1963 the photographer Walter Carone took the pictures of the Actresses, which at that time was 20 years, for the magazine Paris Match. This year, the legend of French cinema turns 77 years old.

Catherine Deneuve gained prominence and international fame after the Cannes film triumph of the movie musical "the umbrellas of Cherbourg", 1964.

In the following years, she starred in the historical film "Repulsion" Roman Polanski and "the young Girls of Rochefort".

Deneuve has worked with such Directors as Luis buñuel ("Tristan", 1970, "Belle de jour", 1967) and françois Truffaut (Last metro, 1980).

High appraisal was given her role in the drama "Indochina" (1992), the painting is Francois Ozon "Eight women" (2002), "Dancing in the dark" (2000) by Lars von Trier.
