An unpleasant incident with the local authorities occurred because of the photos that the girl took during a trip around the country. In the most closed country in the world, there are a lot of prohibitions for foreigners, which guests should not take formally at all if they value life and freedom.
Gutierrez and her friends chose to travel to North Korea in order to learn more about life in this legendary stronghold of Juche ideology. As it should be, when entering the country, Brazilians listened to a detailed lecture on what foreigners can do and what they should refrain from.
But Lisian either listened inattentively, or decided that this was nothing more than a formal procedure, and decided to behave as she pleased. Like any self-respecting model, Gutierrez began to take selfies for social networks wherever possible, completely without thinking about the consequences.
The girl was photographed naked, covering herself with a blanket, in a hotel room, then took a photo near the monuments of the leaders of the DPRK Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and then captured herself in one frame with state symbols. In addition, the company drank alcohol during the trip, which is also forbidden to do outside of specially designated places.
All these three acts are strictly prohibited in North Korea and violators of the rules are strictly punished by law. But Gutierrez committed the most terrible crime against North Korea in one of the public toilets. There the girl found a cap left at the entrance by some serviceman and immediately took a selfie in it.
Everyone liked the trip and, after staying in a foreign country for several days, the Gutierrez company went to the airport to fly home. No one was worried about this, as everyone thought that another formality was waiting for them. But it turned out that those leaving the DPRK are checked even more carefully than those entering, including looking into gadgets and cameras.
The border guards demanded that Lisian show them a photo from the phone's memory. At that moment, the girl began to worry — she could not imagine that someone from outsiders would look at her photos. Gutierrez was saved by chance — she showed pictures from another folder, and the one that contained forbidden materials, the responsible person simply did not notice.
As a result, the Brazilian woman and her friends were able to leave the DPRK without incident. In the event that the forbidden photos were found in the gadget's memory, most likely, she had to appear before one of the last most fair courts in the world and then go to jail.
