In 1954 in Egypt, there was a revolution, in which power was in the hands of a cruel, prone to the tyranny of Colonel Gamal Abdel Nasser. The deposed ruler Farouk, who was the younger brother of she had had to flee the country. A Princess with her husband, though feared for their lives, remained at home.
