1. National Garden.
The Royal Garden was commissioned by Queen Amalia in 1838 and was used to house a wide variety of plants and animals.

The most amazing walk-in Athens, beautiful old houses, colorful gardens, cute little traditional refurbished cafes. It really is like time travel.
3. Dionysios the Areopagite.
Besides the fact that Dionysiou Aeropagitou connects the ancient market with the Acropolis, passing through the Makrygianni quarter full of manor houses, walking along this street will fill you with the most positive atmosphere of Athens. Street performers and some ice cream in the spring make this walk even better.
4. Lofos Strefi.
Strefi Hill is the upper edge of the Exarchia region. It is covered with trees and has a football and basketball court. From the top of the hill you have a panoramic view of the surrounding areas.
5. Panathenaic stadium.
Most of all, locals like to attend events and concerts in autumn, spring, and summer. Don't miss one of the most amazing views of the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus right next to the stadium at the nearby tram stop.

You will see the residence, workshop, and gallery of the famous local artist Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika.

It is located in one of the busiest areas of Athens, Exarchia, in a restored neoclassical house whose courtyard has been transformed into a glass atrium, which is truly a great place for coffee, food or drinks.

9. Cave Davelis.
If you are tired of the bustle of the city, visit the cave. While driving on the slopes of Penteli, the view is amazing.
10. Vryssaki.
Vryssaki consists of different rooms and floors, each of which plays a different role. The main courtyard is surrounded by gallery halls, and there is a cafe on the roof. There is also a small library and an event room.
