44-year-old Rian De Rhian DeSouza, a married mother of two children, was exposed when the schoolgirl's parent saw messages on her daughter's phone. The student started sending candid photos to the teacher on Snapchat after she helped her in exams. The mother immediately went to the police, and the headmistress was arrested.

The woman was the principal at the Gellionnen Primary School in the Welsh town of Clydeche for five years. In late 2017 — early 2018, she began a relationship with a 16-year-old girl who did not study at their school.After the end of the injunction, she will have to re-apply for pedagogical registration. Rian has two children.
