Popular bloggers on Instagram decided to recall the art of the days gone by: to promote the new online platform of museums in Paris, they had to recreate famous paintings and photographs. The collection of modern versions of masterpieces of French art is called "Parallels" (Parallels).

"Ten instagrammers with different styles and different destinies collaborated with the municipal museums of Paris, working with ten different works, but having only one creative condition — to rethink what they faced," the press release for the unusual project says.

Every Instagram blogger, including a photographer, fashion blogger and comedy presenter of a YouTube channel, used his own experience to express his attitude to the original work or reinterpret it by adding something of his own. The results were impressive. Physical copies of the bloggers' photos are on display at the Paris Saint-Lazare train station until the end of July.
