Not “crap”, but “game room”: a fun Czech-Russian picture dictionary

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/not-crap-but-game-room-a-fun-czech-russian-picture-dictionary.htmlCzech, like Russian, is a Slavic language, so it is not surprising that many words are consonant. But the meaning of these words is not always the same, and most often it will not be possible to guess what this or that word, similar to ours, means. That's why stůl is a table and podvodník is a deceiver? And while others were thinking or laughing about it, a Russian couple living in the Czech Republic released “The Fun Czech-Russian Picture Dictionary.”
Maxim and Anastasia Yanbekov have already released two parts of a fun dictionary with words that are consonant, but have completely different meanings in Czech and Russian.
But, according to the authors, the dictionary was most liked by those who do not know Czech.
