Look like the most peaceful borders between European countries

Global conflicts of the last time force the authorities of many States to reconsider their views on border management. However, photographer Valerio Vincenzo (Vincenzo Valerio) from the Netherlands in the framework of its project called Borderline, Frontiers of Peace shows a more inspiring way of the lack of lines of separation between the two countries.

His series of photographs dedicated to the radical changes that occurred in Europe after the signing of the Schengen agreement. This agreement allowed to erase the boundaries between States parties and symbolized a giant step in the direction of gradual unification of Europe.

Armed with GPS and detailed maps, Vincenzo traveled to these blurred boundaries, creating images that showcase the essence of these "peace now cordons" and destroy the stereotypical idea of how to look abroad.
