An unusual process took place in India. There, the court divorced the spouses due to the fact that the wife constantly cooked instant noodles for her husband. Judge Raghunath from the Indian city of Bellary told reporters about the unusual civil case. This story has already been dubbed the "Maggie case" in the press.

The husband sued his wife because the woman constantly fed him instant noodles. The man ate it not just every day, but for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At first he was condescending to such a meager diet, but then it began to annoy him.

According to the plaintiff, when his wife went grocery shopping, she brought only Maggi instant noodles. On this occasion, scandals have repeatedly broken out in the family, but this did not affect the menu in any way. The unhappy spouse left the house specifically to eat street food or have lunch at a party. Of course, it couldn't go on forever.

The judge said that he tried to reconcile the couple, but the husband was adamant. At the same time, there were no problems with the divorce - the man and the woman parted by mutual consent. Raghutan does not consider this divorce unique in its kind. According to him, there have been more unusual lawsuits.

For example, once he had to breed a couple because his wife systematically put salt on the wrong side of the plate. And the judge divorced the young couple immediately after the wedding. At that time, the newlyweds argued over the color of the groom's suit, which the bride and her mother did not like. In India, in general, they like divorces for unusual, from our point of view, reasons.

At the same time, citizens are more often divorced in the country. In rural areas, family squabbles are handled by councils of elders. They often manage to reconcile obstinate spouses, appealing to their prudence or religiosity.

Sometimes parents and children are sued in India. Recently, an elderly couple filed a lawsuit against their son and daughter-in-law. The reason is that they did not want to give them grandchildren.
