February 3, 1972 in Iran began one of the worst natural disasters in the country's history. Came from the Caucasus Blizzard raged for six days. A state with a dry climate, where the snow usually falls only in the mountains, of course, was absolutely not ready for such virasto elements.

Hundreds of settlements were cut off from the outside world: Blizzard cut phone lines and power lines, flooded roads.
