It may seem silly, but athletes don't care, because it worked.

Last month, after a string of setbacks during which the team won only one home match in four months, Guangzhou Fuli made a desperate decision to repaint the stadium in gold to improve its energy. Even more funny is that the stadium was already renovated last year, painting everything blue in accordance with the colors of the club.
In mid—July, the entire stadium — from the floor and chairs up to the walls - was repainted in gold in the hope that luck would finally smile on the club. Believe it or not, it happened. After the renovation of the home arena, Guangzhou Fuli's business went uphill. The team won five matches in a row on its field, approaching the top three in the Super League.
The team believes that it was the repainting of the stadium that affected its game. "After changing the colors, we won five victories. We have demonstrated bright and attacking football in these games. The golden color of our home stadium is quite pleasant, now it definitely does not need to be changed," says head coach Dragan Stojkovic.
