"Do I always take a video camera with me?": "The director himself" closes after 28 years of existence
The state holding VGTRK has decided to stop the production of the programs "Smekhopanorama with Evgeny Petrosyan", "Morning Mail" and "Self-directed". Yes, yes, this is the same program that many of us loved to watch as children.
The permanent host Alexey Lysenkov told about the closing of the show, which has been on the screens since 1992.

This year, the program "Self-directed" turned 28 years old! Just think, two more years and the program of our childhood could celebrate its 30th anniversary. But this is not destined to happen, since recently the management of VGTRK announced a decision to remove several programs from the broadcast grid, including "The director himself".
Alexey Lysenkov, who has been the host of the program for all these years, told about this in his Instagram profile. The man recorded a video message in which he told subscribers how hard it was for him to make this decision, but he "had to agree with him."

In addition, the presenter thanked all the people who had a hand in creating the program, as well as its guests and participants.
Dozens of fans gathered in the comments under Lysenkov's video message to express their opinion about the closure:
