It is not surprising that it is here that the largest number of plastic surgeries are performed, and patients from all over the world come to the local masters.

Initially, chin plastic surgery was performed only for medical purposes, for example, to eliminate the consequences of any injury. But already now this operation is in demand among people who want to become more beautiful.

It should be noted that the procedure involves a long rehabilitation — from 12 weeks to 6 months. This is due to the fact that there are many nerve endings and blood vessels around the chin. That is why any mistake of the surgeon can lead to tragic consequences.

Together with the chin, Koreans correct ... even the jaws completely! After all, locals are sure that a person without a V-shaped face cannot be considered beautiful. Blepharoplasty is one of the most popular plastic surgeries not only in South Korea, but all over the world. It is also called "double eye surgery". During the procedure, excess skin is removed from the upper eyelid, so that the look becomes more open, cute and friendly.

It is because of the "impending century" that the appearance of Asians seems to many quite aggressive. But the locals have long learned to deal with this problem. In clinics , there are three options for blepharoplasty at once: incision (using tissue incision), partially incision (a small incision is made to remove fat) and non-incision (without incisions, using special threads).

Koreans also do not like any manifestations of age-related changes, so they try to avoid them in various ways. One of them is the installation of an implant. With its help, you can create more rounded facial features that will visually make a person younger.

The second is to create a new forehead shape by correcting the hairline. This intervention is quite traumatic, as it is done by inserting an endoscope into small incisions on the skin. But even so, the procedure is in demand.

Nostrils reduction and rhinoplasty are also incredibly popular among Koreans. The latter is designed to correct the bridge of the nose — for many Asians, the characters are flat nose and low bridge of the nose. But the first one is necessary directly for narrowing the nostrils, and this procedure is carried out in several ways.

One of them is the tightening of the nose holes with a special thread. Usually this operation is performed only on clients with too wide nostrils. First, the surgeon makes an incision through which the thread will be threaded. Then the thread is tightened and fixed to the amount that the patient needs.

The procedure takes about 15-30 minutes and is often done under local anesthesia. Side effects include bruising, swelling, redness, allergic reaction and infection.

Perhaps the most desired procedure among Koreans is changing the shape of the outer (lateral) corner of the eyes. During this procedure, an incision is made on the skin of the epicanthus ("Mongolian fold"), so that the eyes begin to appear more elongated and large, and, to put it simply, more "European"!
