Photographer Kurt Hutton (Kurt or Hubshman) was born in Germany in 1893. He began his career as a photographer with the German Agency Dephot, and at the age of 41 years moved to England and began working in the publication of the Weekly Illustrated. In England, Hutton became one of the founders of the weekly news magazine Picture Post. The magazine published his photos, which were later recognized as a cult.
