"Autumn, it's good to caress yourself!": in Britain, 6-year-olds will be taught how to masturbate properly

PictolicFor several weeks now, in the British county of Warwickshire, disputes between government officials and parents who are outraged by the new curriculum in local schools have not subsided. So far, the All about me course is being run-in in test mode, but next year it will become mandatory for all students.
What worried their moms and dads so much? The fact is that in addition to friendship, family values and communication on the Internet, the program also captures the sexual sphere. Six-year-olds are going to be taught how to properly touch their genitals.
No, it wasn't your imagination. Six-year-old girls and boys will really be taught self-satisfaction. 37-year-old Johnny Hunt, who created the program, is sure that this is the only way to protect children from problems in the future.
The lesson plans will include an explanation of the "rules of touching yourself and self-stimulation". In addition, students will try to convey the idea that "caressing yourself is normal", despite the fact that in society this activity is often considered "dirty".
Teachers will need to explain to schoolchildren that many people like to "tickle themselves and stroke", and there is nothing wrong with that. The assimilation of the material will take place in a playful way. For example, children will be told about a fictional character — a girl named Autumn, who, staying alone in the bathroom, "touches herself between her legs and makes herself feel good." Students, in turn, should evaluate this action — "This is good" or "This is bad".
Of course, children are warned that there are certain restrictions. For example, you can not masturbate in public — you need to do it alone, on the bed or in the bathroom.
Parents took the news about the upcoming education program with hostility and even appealed to the author of the program with a demand to cancel or at least change it. But Hunt insists: whether parents like it or not, children of all ages will engage in self-stimulation, and their goal is to teach them to do it safely.
In the future, sexual reform will affect not only the county of Warwickshire, but also the whole of Britain. The project developers and their supporters intend to implement it on a nationwide scale and make it mandatory to study. Initially, it was assumed that parents themselves would be able to choose whether their child needs to attend such classes, but now the program is being introduced into the general course.
We dare to assume that soon we will hear news about mass protests in the county Warwickshire. In the meantime, let's reflect: do you agree that such programs reduce the risk of developing sexually transmitted diseases, as they help children to start sexual life more consciously? How would you react if such an innovation appeared in your school?
