By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/artist-bogdan-rezunenko-and-his-fascinating-dark-side.htmlThe fantasy of the St. Petersburg artist Bogdan Rezunenko generates pictures that the creators of the Dark Souls series of games could envy. Bogdan does not hide the fact that the dark aesthetic attracts him more than furry animals and anime beauties. When the viewer sees the artist's works, despite the harsh subjects, he notices that they are created with love. This is not surprising, because Rezunenko loves what he does and tries to put the maximum imagination and soul into the characters.
When Bogdan is asked why his paintings are so gloomy and even creepy, he willingly talks about the advantages of the "dark side". It turns out that this is laid down from above and nothing can be corrected:
And is it worth it to break yourself and go on about the advisers, if what Bogdan does is really cool and original? Let's get acquainted with a few of his works, which, in our opinion, will allow us to form the most complete picture of the artist's talent.
You can see more of Bogdan Rezunenko's works on his Instagram or here.
And another Russian artist, working under the pseudonym Tony Sart, transfers demonic creatures from their gloomy world to our reality. It turns out very interesting and, sometimes, funny.
