The annual survey evaluates 156 countries based on the happiness of their citizens, according to their own estimates.

According to co-editor of the report, John Helliwell, the satisfaction of Finnish citizens is most likely related to their lifestyle, not their DNA.

The Land of a Thousand Lakes is known for its work-life balance, stellar education system, beautiful nature, and more.

Unsurprisingly, people in the Scandinavian country have the highest quality of life in the world.
