What London was like before Banksy: Street art of the 80s

In the 80's in the British capital began a craze for street art. More and more graffiti began to appear on the streets: from the frivolous to the serious, from the purely decorative to the political.

The photos from this collection were taken in London in 1985-1986 and reflect the problems and aspirations that the British people lived then. Some of these murals still exist, although they are much faded. And in the photos of the 80s, they are still juicy and bright.
