The production of green tea began with the collection of tea leaves in large straw baskets, which women carried in their hands and on their backs. After that, the men performed fixation and twisting of the leaves. Then the tea was dried, sifted, cleaned and sorted — manually and with the help of mechanisms. Later, the women packed tea, which was eventually shipped by boat for sale.
