Classic plastic: famous paintings items in plastic packaging

The word "still life" recall the paintings of ripe vegetables and fruits. Spanish Studio QUATRE CAPS decided to create an unusual project called "Not Longer Life", to draw attention to the amount of plastic used in the food industry. Designers have recreated the classic still life paintings famous artists in the modern spirit, by placing items in a plastic package.

Spanish Studio QUATRE CAPS is mainly focused on architecture, but for the new series "Not Longer Life", the band decided to change direction. Artists wanted to draw attention to the large amount of plastic that is used in the food industry. On each of the six images reproduced by classical still life paintings of famous painters, including Claude Monet, Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio and Juan Sanchez of Kotan, but with a modern sound.

Thousands of products get to our table in plastic containers. This is done to preserve their freshness and increase shelf life. But the plastic was no longer just a way to protect and turned into a "second skin" of vegetables and fruits, becoming part of them. The art concerned with the topic non-natural products in our lives, but do we?
