Album covers censored in Iran: there are no more women
Twitter users discovered that the Iranian music streaming service MELOVAZ censored the covers of music albums depicting Western women. Now they're just not there. Neither Madonna, nor Billy Ailish, nor Lady Gaga were spared — no one. Male musicians were not censored. No one has ever canceled women so harshly (and absurdly).
At the same time, the photos of women in stock photos were not censored. Also, the painted women were not removed from the covers. In addition, on the covers of playlists in Melovaz, the performers were replaced with a colored background.
