Melissa Ede, 58, a transgender woman from Hull, died in hospital after spending several days there after an emergency hospitalization. The cause of death remains unknown, but last week she was taken from her home by an ambulance with a suspected heart attack. The patient then came in complaining of difficulty breathing and unbearable chest pain.
Melissa used to work as a taxi driver. At the beginning of 2018, she won 4 million pounds (340 million rubles).
At the hospital, Melissa told reporters that she has a lot of detractors on social networks, from whom she receives death wishes and insults.
It is known that the winner deposited 3 million pounds (254 million rubles) into her bank account.
