What the bedrooms of people of different countries and professions look like

John Takurei is a South African photographer. John spends very little time in his bedroom, but he spends a lot of time in other people's bedrooms. Do not rush to draw conclusions about his morality. The fact is that John is the author of the My Room Project, in which the photographer takes pictures of the bedrooms of people from different countries. The idea came about as a joke when John was renting a friend's bedroom in Paris. However, it seemed interesting to him, and now, after 6 years, the photographer has accumulated more than a thousand photographs of bedrooms of people from 55 countries of the world, from Russia to Mexico, from Japan to Nepal. John makes a strict selection and only bedrooms of people born in the 80s and 90s get into the lens of his camera. This is how the photographer wants to capture the life of one generation. Moreover, the photographer not only takes pictures of the bedroom, but also asks the owner about himself, about work, about his lifestyle and education, love, and religion. A new book, My Room Project, is being prepared for release, which will reflect all the photos and all interviews.
