A few years ago, the world did not even hear about the fashion for beards, barbershops and everything related to it. Until recently, smooth-shaven men were considered more attractive than bearded and shaggy. Today, it's worth walking down the street of a city in any country — and every second one will definitely have a beard. 

And this is how hairdressers, barbers, or, as they are now called, barbershops, looked in the XIX-XX centuries, when the beard was not a fashion trend.
