By Vika https://pictolic.com/article/what-can-happen-if-you-sleep-in-socks.htmlWhen it comes to wearing socks before bed, it all depends on our personal preferences. Some people can't sleep unless they're wearing warm socks, and others can't stand the thought of sweating at night and going to bed barefoot. But as it turns out, sleeping in your socks can be a bit of a pain, and if you're used to leaving your socks on at night, you might want to reconsider this habit.
We are also divided into those who sleep in socks and those who never do so. And we decided to find out what would happen if you wear your favorite socks all night.

1. There is no doubt that wearing socks before bed will be warm and cozy, and it can even temporarily increase blood circulation. But if you wear socks for a long period of time, it actually starts to work in reverse, reducing blood flow. If you have a habit of wearing socks at night, this can lead to slower blood flow in the long run.
2. Your favorite socks with funny designs can make you laugh and cheer up even on a gloomy day, but pay attention to the fabric from which they are made. Synthetic materials such as polyester, rayon, or nylon are not skin-friendly and do not allow your feet to breathe. Night sweats are quite common, and if you sleep under a thick blanket, the humid and warm environment creates the perfect breeding ground for bacteria that can infect your feet. If harsh chemicals, such as dyes and resins, have been used to treat your socks, chances are good that you may develop irritation and a rash, also known as dermatitis.
3. If you've ever noticed reddish, itchy sock marks on your feet, it's possible that the elastic bands that hold the socks in place are too tight. If you leave your socks on overnight, you may wake up with painful, irritating marks on your skin that take a while to clear up. Like any tight-fitting piece of clothing, socks with tight elastic bands can restrict blood flow, causing swelling.
4. When you rest at night, your body continues to work, and while you sleep, a lot is actually happening. Your body temperature changes several times during the night and we sleep better when we are cooler. If you wear socks made of non-breathable fabrics, your body temperature may rise, which will disturb your sleep.
