Vintage pictures of Japan in color and 3D
These animated gif images were created using stereoscopic photographs taken in Japan between 1895 and 1910. The author of the photos is a Japanese photographer of the late Meiji era, Taisho Enami, one of the most outstanding stereo photographers of his time, whose works later appeared in many well—known publications, including National Geographic.
