Unemployment and economic instability led to widespread unrest, which resulted in public demonstrations, such as riots in Tosstate 1981. The conflict arose from the tension between local police and black population. However, the people remained strong even in hard times.
British photographer Dave Sinclair captured Liverpool, faced with the changes in society in the 1980-ies. Its inhabitants refused to surrender in the face of adversity, and United in one spirit, took to the streets together to defend their opinion.
