PictolicAn unusual food court of truly grandiose scale is located in China next to a popular tourist attraction. Every day, crowds of tourists flock to this picturesque place on Mount Laojun in Henan Province to rest and refresh themselves. And every day more than 500 employees, including 100 chefs, serve about 20 thousand visitors here.
This catering point opens daily at five o'clock in the evening and works late. 8 people can fit at one table. In just one day, twenty thousand people have time to dine here — one batch of tourists quickly replaces another, and so on until late in the evening.
Lunch is quite inexpensive here — only 10 yuan (about 100 rubles). For this money, the visitor receives ten dishes including soup.
The food court employs approximately 400 staff members, and the food is prepared by hundreds of chefs.
The menu includes fried fish, pork, mushrooms, tofu, greens and so on.
The average Chinese really likes to eat. At the same time, most of the inhabitants of the Celestial Empire do not cook at home, but prefer to eat in snack bars, because it is fast and cheap. Street food is an important part of local life.
The staff at the food court works tirelessly. As soon as people have finished eating, you need to quickly clean and prepare the tables for a new batch of guests.
The food court is open until late in the evening: tons of food are eaten here.
