The antenna at an altitude of 6500 meters was placed by China Mobile Hong Kong and Huawei.
China Mobile Hong Kong (CMHK) has announced a joint installation on Facebook. The organizers say that in this way they will be able to improve communication for climbers who will be able to broadcast online in 8K resolution and communicate with relatives and friends on the 5G network.
