He is still alive and slowly holds old age at his home in New England.

The career of William Helburn began at the end of the Second world war — he was in the group that made the first pictures after the explosion of the atomic bomb over Hiroshima. Peak of his work came in the 50-60-ies.
In the 80-ies of Helburn became a successful Director of TV Commercials. Ten years later, he left the world of fashion and advertising and has dedicated his life to family and children. The photographer is still alive and spends time at his home in new England.
