The photos of Claudine Dori, which are included in the album about the legendary camp "Artek", go beyond everything that was once published about this place. They caused a flurry of discussion, emotions and even a scandal, but this is a true story about Artek's life, about growing up and youthful metamorphoses.

The Frenchwoman Claudine Doury, a representative of the photo agency "VU", once chose two main topics for her reports-the study of changes taking place in the countries of Eastern Europe, and the metamorphosis of the youth period of life.

In 2004, a book by Claudine "Artek — summer in the Crimea" was published in Paris, which contains photos taken by a French woman from 1994 to 2003. Perhaps this series is almost the only collection of photos about Artek's real life. There are no boring staged photos, dry and formal. All the pictures of Claudine are a true story about Artek's life, about growing up and subtle experiences.

Some of the photos of Claudine caused absolute delight, others subjected them to crushing criticism. As one counselor put it: "It's just awful! Her children are lying on the bedspreads in their clothes! Moreover, they also play cards»… And five years after the release of the album, it happened that it appeared in the scandalous case of the corruption of children by the camp administration, passing as evidence. Ukrainian psychologists reproached Dori for taking a series of photos for " adults who are prone to pedophilia."
