And the heir to the throne of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman, is no exception. He owns one of the most expensive and luxurious palaces in the world, which is located in France. The magnificent chateau is inferior only to Versailles, and yet the Arab billionaire continues to improve his estate. See what splendor reigns in his castle, further in our material.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman owns one of the most luxurious castles in the world. He purchased a magnificent French chateau in 2015 for 230 million pounds (about 22.5 billion rubles).
The royal estate called Louis XIV with an area of 4,645 square meters was built on the model of French castles of the 17th century in 2008 - 2011. It is located in Louveciennes, near Versailles.
Before the Arabian prince bought the palace, Kim Kardashian came here, choosing a place for a wedding with Kanye West.
One of the most impressive "highlights" of the mansion is a huge aquarium, which is located in the recreation room. Thanks to the transparent walls, you can see carp and sturgeon swimming right by the sofas.
Ibn Salman, buying Chateau Louis XIV, wanted to keep this place a secret. He carefully concealed that he was the owner of the palace, using shell companies in France and Luxembourg. But after a while, the truth finally surfaced.
Businessman Emad Khashoggi rebuilt the estate: demolished the original 19th century castle and equipped it with the latest technology. Fountains, audio systems and air conditioners have appeared here, which can be controlled using an iPhone.
The castle has ten luxurious bedrooms, huge reception rooms with ceilings 16 meters high, a library, as well as a wine cellar, which stores up to 3,000 bottles of elite alcohol.
As for entertainment, there is a cinema, indoor and outdoor pools, a squash court and a nightclub.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman is striving to improve his palace. He wants the castle to look like Versailles. Judging by the photos of the estate, he succeeds.
We are used to the fact that the houses of celebrities amaze with wealth and chic. Indeed, the stellar mansions are amazing. Nevertheless, many stars have real estate, which, due to circumstances, turned from luxurious possessions into ruins over time.
