By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/the-flesh-project-kat-rileys-lifelike-drawings-explore-the-subject-of-the-body-and-touch.htmlArtist Kat Riley creates amazing photorealistic drawings that explore the power of touch and the sensuality of the flesh. In each image, the body is pinched, grabbed, and squeezed — and Riley expertly captures how the flesh reacts to these influences.
And although we are given only a piece of history (and the body), such as the waist or hips, the drawings carry warmth, intimacy and humanity. Riley's work explores pleasure — as well as the softness and hardness of human flesh. The drawings are very realistic — they can easily be confused with photos.
We have added other works by Riley to our selection — all of them accurate and beautiful. Most of them have a human body in one form or another, and it is depicted with amazing skill and amazing skill.
Kat Riley has worked with Nike, GQ, and The New York Times.
