The early 90s through the eyes of Bertin van Manen

What at first glance may seem like gross errors and lack of quality in the photographs (exposed edges, inaccurate focusing or flash flare) actually gives an idea of Manen’s desire to capture the moment, to capture, not to miss what is happening in front of her.
