All restaurants, nightclubs, theaters and cinemas have closed. The girl felt even more lonely. She realized that she would not be able to go on dates for several months, and the chances of finding a soulmate began to melt rapidly. Judy decided to try her luck on dating sites and launched a seven-day marathon of communication with strangers. What came out of it — find out from our material.Spring is a time of love and tenderness, but quarantine has destroyed all the plans of lonely hearts to find a soul mate. Journalist Judy Kogan was ready to say goodbye to her personal life during the pandemic, but suddenly she came up with the idea to try to arrange online dating on a dating site every day. Here's how her week of hanging out with cute strangers went.
Judy had previously been registered on several dating sites, but decided to update the information on her pages and limit the search for potential boyfriends within a radius of 160 km from her home. She set an age limit of 25 to 50 years and started waiting for messages from men.
On dating sites, everyone jokes about quarantine topics — many guys wrote to Judy that they have an antiseptic for their hands. The girl liked the 35-year-old blue-eyed David. They talked the whole evening, pelting each other with questions.
David decided to forge iron while it was hot: he asked a new friend for a phone number to communicate with her on Whatsapp. On the same day, Judy met 25-year-old Andy, a pizza lover who has a dog, and also gave him her number. In the supermarket, the girl ran into 29-year-old Alex, who turned out to be an artist who prefers polygamous relationships.
David did not deviate from the plan to win Judy's heart. He sent her photos of himself relaxing in the garden at home, and wrote that he would like to see her next to him. Andy suddenly called by video link when the girl was walking without makeup and with an unwashed head. When he saw Judy, he immediately informed her that she had a terrible hairstyle. And what did he expect if all the hairdressers were closed? After that, the guy didn't write anymore. David constantly reminded about himself and asked the girl about an online date on Skype. Judy agreed.
Preparations for the first virtual date have begun. David offered to order food for each other in the same cafe, but not to say which dishes they chose. Knowing that the man was in Thailand, the journalist ordered him a curry. She installed the laptop in the dining room, checked the camera image and lighting. Behind the wall, in the living room, the girl's mother watches TV every night, but Judy hopes that this will not confuse a potential boyfriend.
Virtual dating has many advantages: you don't need to shave your legs or pick up the right shoes. Judy put on a sexy top and comfortable leggings. David sent her 20 pounds (about 1800 rubles) for wine. At 20.00 he called her on Skype. The man was wearing an elegant blue shirt. Then he stood up and showed off his gray sweatpants, which greatly defused the situation. The young people laughed and a casual conversation ensued between them. They talked until nightfall and agreed on the next meeting.Judy fell asleep with a smile on her face. She realized that there is no difference, a virtual date or a real one: the main thing is to meet the right man.
