The William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize is a photography competition in Australia organized in 2006 by the Monash Art Gallery. Each time the prize attracts more and more participants and increases the prize fund. The main winner of this year got a cash reward in the amount of 30 thousand Australian dollars. He became a Melbourne photographer, born in Iran, Hoda Afshar (Hoda Afshar). Recognition was brought to him by the work "Portrait of Behrouz Buchani, Manus Island".
