Yes, not just like that, but as many as four times, with vaccines from different manufacturers-Pfizer and AstraZeneca. Now he is sure that his immunity will defeat any strain and there is nothing more to be afraid of. And what do the doctors think about this?
On July 13, Tom Lee made the last, fourth inoculation with Pfizer. For the first time, he was vaccinated back in March 2021 with the AstraZeneca vaccine, after which he alternated it with Pfizer, mixing the vaccines according to one principle known to him. The man is sure that this method is the only effective and at the same time completely safe.
The opinion of the Australian is shared by scientists at the University of Oxford, who observed 830 volunteers aged 18 to 50 years. The alternate administration of Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines showed that they work together much more reliably than each separately. Virologist Oksana Pyzik from the University of London claims that this is a very important discovery that will allow us to defeat COVID-19 faster.
As for Tom, he is proud that he became the first person in Australia to receive four vaccinations against the insidious virus. But Australian doctors do not share his enthusiasm – they believe that such a vaccination scheme has not yet been fully studied and it is better to do with one vaccination. Professor Paul Kelly, the chief medical officer of Australia, also believes this.
Four times vaccinated Tom Lee told the press that he was not worried about the warnings of doctors, because he feels just fine. The guy even wanted to mark the fourth injection with a trip to a restaurant, but all establishments in his native Sydney are still quarantined. Therefore, the event had to be celebrated right at the vaccination center with a cup of coffee.
Lee does not let anti-virus measures take their course and carefully monitors the state of his body. The other day, he will have another visit to the clinic, where the man will pass tests for the content of antibodies to COVID-19.
We are sure that if Tom Lee had the opportunity to be vaccinated with the "beer preparation" of the Filipino doctor Nicanor Austriaco, he would do it on a daily basis.
