If you ask tattoo fans why they cover their body with drawings, then, for sure, you can hear many interesting and even unexpected versions. But still, one of the most unusual reasons pushes Swiss resident Yannick Rick from the city of Chor to another session in a tattoo parlor. A man whose body will soon run out of free space claims that the needle of the tattoo machine allows him to get to know his body better.

Now the body of 25-year-old Yannick is almost completely covered with a black tattoo. There are untouched areas only on the face and on the back, where clean skin is left in the form of the word "Evil" (Evil).

Yannick Rick gave an interview to journalists of The Sun and told what made him start an unusual body modification and what its meaning is. As it turned out, it all started a few years ago on one of the beaches, where a guy drew attention to a man covered with tattoos from head to toe. The way he looks, Yannick really liked and in 2016 he made his first "sleeve".

What came out after the tattoo artist's work delighted the guy, but he liked the sensations he experienced in the process more. The pain fascinated Yannick, and soon he came back for another session with the same master. Since then, more than 4 years have passed and during this time Rick left about 9 thousand pounds (860 thousand rubles) in tattoo parlors.

The sensations received during the session, the man compares with meditation or exercise - according to him, they give him cheerfulness and clarity of thoughts. But most of all, the Swiss appreciates that the needle introduces him to his own body. Now he knows where his skin is more sensitive, and where he feels almost nothing, and in which places the needle prick affects his well-being the most.

Yannick Rick works in a nursing home, but, according to him, an unusual hobby does not affect his relationship with patients in any way. The man recalls with a smile that some old people ask him to go wash his hands and wonder if it will be possible to get rid of the tattoo. In general, Rick does not notice that hobbies somehow affect his life, including his personal one. He says that there are women who like his tattoos and those who are annoyed by his appearance.

When asked by a journalist what he would do when there was no room for a tattoo on his body, Yannick replied that he was already looking at scarification (scarring), and also wanted to remove the nipples.

If in Europe the appearance of Yannick may still raise questions, then inĀ In Southeast Asia, solid tattoos have long been a trend.
