Suteev's fairy tales are kind and instructive stories on which we grew up

Absolutely everyone knows his fairy tales. Even if you didn't have his books as a child, which is unlikely, then you've probably seen cartoons based on them. Vladimir Grigoryevich Suteev is a writer and illustrator whose contribution to children's literature is very difficult to overestimate. Millions of Soviet and later Russian children grew up on his stories about bunnies, hedgehogs and cubs. Blogger Anatoly Ivanov tried to explain the phenomenon of the storyteller.

Suteev uses an interesting technique in his books. He complements the text with a picture, forcing the reader to instantly switch from imagination to visual images. The cartoon based on this New Year's tale is called "The Postman Snowman". This is the case when someone else's name better reflects the essence of the work than the author's. The story of how a snowman and a puppy went to the wolf for a Christmas tree teaches courage, mutual assistance and ingenuity.

The animated version of this fairy tale is called a little differently — "Mushroom-teremok". This kind story about animals teaches children mutual assistance. And besides, it has useful information that mushrooms grow during the rain.

According to many, this is one of the best fairy tales by Vladimir Suteev. The cartoon based on this story is also considered the most successful. The film adaptation differs slightly from the original in that in the fairy tale the hare has five sons, not four. The number of bunnies was changed specifically for the rhyme in the song. The fairy tale teaches kindness and mutual help. Later, a continuation of the story appeared, filmed as a remake of the pre-war cartoon "Santa Claus and the Gray Wolf". This cartoon has become an integral part of the New Year's television program.

As in the story with the apple, in the fairy tale "The Fisher Cat" the author teaches to share and ridicules greed and impatience. Together with the "Bag of apples" cartoon about a cat with a fishing rod is considered one of the best among the works of Suteev.
