Striking photos of Ethiopian tribes

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/striking-photos-of-ethiopian-tribes.htmlSpanish photographer Diego Arroyo Mendes has taken a series of amazing pictures of village life in Ethiopia, where people have been for centuries - if not millennia! - they took care of their traditions and rituals.
In recent years, traditional tribal life in the Omo Valley has been tested by modernity. Diego filmed the way of life of these tribes in times of change.
Most of all, the photographer was impressed by the Hamar initiation ceremony, which he happened to observe. The boy jumps over bulls during the ritual, and his relatives are brutally beaten while they sing and whistle into horns made of bull horns.
