Seize the moment: the photographer who notices everything

48-year-old photographer Edas Wong (Edas Wong) lives in Hong Kong. It is extremely rare for him to go out without a camera: at any moment you can notice something interesting. His career reached a new level when he was inspired by the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson and fell in love with street photography. And I began to notice the non-trivial stories that constantly give birth to the stone jungle. Literally catch them on the fly.

Wong does not hide the fact that almost always an interesting shot is born thanks to luck. Only every hundredth picture is worthy of showing it to the public. Therefore, the success of the work directly depends on the time spent shooting.

Creating a good photo, Edas says, requires freeing the mind. "When the mind is empty, creativity is infinite. Our imagination is limited by our knowledge, experience, common sense, culture, morality, and so on. To make creative photos, all this burden must be thrown away and look at the world in your own way."
